Yarren is an NPC located in Vitheo's Watch on the beach at his campsite at night. He is part of the quest The Mathers' Demise. And giving him the The Mathers Note triggers the 2nd part of the quest.

When you give him [The Mathers Note]:
| Oh no... this was Brice's worst fear! We believe Eldoth is involved with The Wisp and that he is behind something far more sinister than I have time to explain. Brice gave me this key for safe keeping. He was afraid Eldoth's men would come for it. He discovered an old Sivakayan church buried in the hills of Blacksalt and this key is the only one in existence. See what's in there... and bring any tomes you find back to me. For Brice... |
