Aragath's Imprisonment | Aragath claims to have been imprisoned by a group of necromancers. He thinks they're behind a hidden door in the Island Tomb near a Stone Throne. Destroy the necromancers and collect their soul-stones, and reunite those stones with their linked watchlights to absorb their power. Return the four charged stones to Aragath. |
3. Find the secret passage behind Woe in the Island Tomb. Upon descending the stairs for the first time, players receive a tutorial prompt:
TUTORIAL TIP: Just because it looks scary, doesn't mean you can't talk to it... don't attack everything on sight until you know what it's intentions are with you. |
4. Choose whether to speak to the Necromancers and begin Destroying Aragath or attack them. Note that you can only complete one quest; only kill the Necromancers if you wish to continue with this quest.
5. Defeat the Necromancers and loot their corpses to find Revid's Soul Gem, Leah's
Soul Gem, Posta's
Soul Gem, and Stalzo's
Soul Gem.
6. Return to Stowaway's Step and give each gem to the appropriate color Watchlight:
: On top of the Registration Office.
: On top of the hill near Rattlewrists.
: Next to the mausoleum entrance to the Island Tomb.
: Behind Plaxitheris.
Upon using each Soul Gem, you'll receive 5 EXP and a Charged Soul Gem.
7. Return and give Aragath the four Charged Soul Gems. He thanks you for releasing him with 45 EXP and a Seafarer's Pendant.
Notes
- Completing this quest will make
Destroying Aragath void; you can only complete one.
- It is possible to receive the
Empty Soul Gem from Stalzo before killing him, but Aragath will not accept it once he's already been given the four Charged Soul Gems.
- There are no known consequences for either aiding Aragath or destroying him.
